Brazilian artist Mundano was in Baltimore for last week’s Red Bull Amaphiko Festival. Thanks to the teamwork of Creative Labs Baltimore and Urban Walls Brazil, Mundano created a large scale mural in Clipper Mill.
The mural is colorful, intriguing, and thought-provoking. It consists of dozens of protest signs individuals submitted to Mundano. The artist describes himself as a StreetArTivist and encouraged folks to highlight one of the numerous issues of equality facing humankind nowadays. Thus, for example, you can see such protest signs as water is life, reject bigotry and, there is no planet B incorporated into his mural.
Charm City Streets photographed Mundano at work on his mural over a two day span.
Mundano also found time to also paint this captivating mural on the side of a garage in Sowebo.
