Thanks to the collaborative efforts of Albus Cavus and Words Beats & Life, this year’s Fine Lines Paint Jam took place on Saturday, May 9th, behind the Rhode Island Avenue Shopping Center in Northeast DC.
The weather conditions were mild, and the painters cool and controlled; but, the artwork was hot. Bersk (Midnight Anchor), Ceda, Mas Paz, Mizta, The Ugly Kids, and Wake created excellent pieces. O.T.Pasha painted a most serene deejay. The villainous Harlequin, Ninja warriors, and other anime characters ruled their wall space. Deal crafted an interesting stencil featuring a quote from John Trudell, an indigenous poet and activist.
Check out how the pieces by Ceda, Mizta, Wake, and Mas Paz progressed from start to finish.
Now stroll through the rest of the 2015 Fines Lines Paint Jam gallery.
