Toka at work on his mural for Roll Down Get Down
This past Sunday, in cooperation with MidCity Development and Recreative Spaces, Words Beats & Life hosted a live paint jam in Northeast DC. Entitled Roll Down Get Down the paint jam redecorated the metal gates covering the storefronts at 1301 Rhode Island Ave NE. The event featured prominent graff writers and street artists from DC, Maryland, and Virginia; plus live music and a vendor bazaar.
Charm City Streets captured the following images of artists Arek, Asteck, Clown, Cri, Daver, Decoy, Envy, Freak, Jahone, Mas Paz, Miss Chelove, Nevs, Rei2, Siek, Toka, and others at work throughout the day.

Upon returning to Baltimore, Charm City Streets discovered one memory card was corrupted. Despite valiant recovery attempts, about 20 images are irretrievably lost. Thus, several of the completed murals are missing from the gallery.
