As reported in yesterday’s post, artist Richard Best and his nonprofit group are working to revamp several acres under the Jones Falls Expressway into the world’s largest urban art park. The Section 1 Art Park, as it’s called, will have 60,000 square feet of wall space for artists, an amphitheater for live outdoor performances, a skatepark, an art supplies store, and more.
I spent two days exploring all the artwork under the expressway. Here are the images from my second visit.
