Coney Art Walls 2016 opened Memorial Day weekend in Brooklyn. Large-scale artwork by acclaimed street artists from across the country and around the world fills this open-air gallery. Coney Art Walls is located right on the boardwalk next to the original Nathan’s Hotdogs.
In addition to an ever-changing gallery of murals, the streets of Bushwick and Williamsburg provide a wealth of stencils and wheatpastes – some humorous, many thought-provoking, a few riveting, and each interesting.
In mid-August, well-known street artists from around the globe gathered in Manhattan’s Little Italy to create murals for the 2015 LISA Project. In today’s post Charm City Streets shares these new pieces as well as several from LISA 2014.
