During Art Basel 2016, spray cans were shaking throughout Wynwood as graff writers got down and set walls aflame. Dope new work covered walls, alleyways, roller doors, parking lots, boarded-up houses, sheds, and even the occasional slow-moving beach bum.
For those of us from northern climes, the weather during Art Basel 2016 was summer-like. Truth be told, it was hot. One probable reason for the high temperatures was the artist Sipros. He was burning up Miami painting five murals of his own and then collaborating on the block-long mural of Trump as Batman’s The Joker. The Bushwick Collective and Mana Urban Arts Projects sponsored each piece.
