A Chinese dragon, a host of spirit animals and golden characters, an endearing father and child, a gigantic chameleon, and more lined the stretch of the Metropolitan Branch Trail between R Street NE and New York Avenue NE. Over the past ten days or so, Northeast DC has been abuzz with artistic activity. The international art festival Pow! Wow! returned to our Capital City for the second year in a row. DC artist Kelly Towles curated the event bringing 15 renowned artists from the four corners of the earth to the NoMa neighborhood.
