It is said April showers bring flowers. I am not a horticulturist, but I can say the warm weather certainly brought about an explosion of crazy fresh graff and murals all around town. Here follows the artwork Charm City Streets came across during the second half of the month.
Last week Charm City Streets spent three days in Brooklyn, Williamsburg, and Lower Manhattan – enjoying the deli food and the street art.
In today’s post you see murals created earlier this summer during the annual Bushwick Block Party; plus, a number of other art pieces found in and around Bushwick.
Charm City Streets traveled to Brooklyn to take in the Third Annual Bushwick Collective Block Party, May 30th – Jun 1st. It was huge. The entire block of Troutman Street between St. Nicholas and Wyckoff Streets was closed to traffic. There was live music and live painting all weekend long. Got to see a number of artists at work, including Damien Mitchell, Jerkface, Lexi Bella, Meres, Pixel Pancho & Case Ma’Claim, and Vers. Cool experience! I gotta go back next year.
