Gaia added two wheatpastes to his series #Black Lives Matter. Reed Bmore erected two wire sculptures. His young girl on a rope swing is from the Visions: Sandtown Mural and Arts Project. The second sculpture, a young boy swinging along playground exercise rings, is from #ShiftBaltimore curated last month in Highlandtown by Stefan Ways.
The exciting new and unique Section 1 Art Park began cleaning up its multi-acre site under the Jones Falls Expressway. Rare, Reap, Twenty, and Userp added new ephemeral pieces to the park.
A reminder that Artscape 2015 is one week away … July 17th, 18th and 19th. Charm City Streets will report on the 50+ artists participating next weekend in the live paint that will benefit Section 1 Art Park.
Rok and several friends from Philly painted live at the Taste of Three Cities in Patterson Park.
In Station North Arts District one could find new work by Bank and Paul Mericle; plus a wheatpaste of a machine pistol-toting Mr. Monopoly.
Despite the on-going construction in Graffiti Alley, writers and artists found space and time to work around the equipment and materials.
