Friends and family visiting from Germany and Seattle plus attendance at the 2018 Bushwick Block Party keep me busy throughout June. I had little time to photograph so unfortunately missed the opportunity to capture all the new art in Baltimore’s public spaces.
Despite the rain that weekend, Createscape presented by Creative Labs Bmore was a rousing success (1786 Union Avenue). Folks attending the event took part in a wide variety of free classes to include drawing, photography, sculpture, wheatpasting, yoga and more. Plus a beer garden, plenty of food, and cool music. Quite a number of artists and graffiti writers from Baltimore, DC, and Frederick painted live. Here follows the resulting artwork:
In Graffiti Alley West (@thedeadpiratewestley) created a dope Mt. Rushmore-like piece, Inmmezzure brought the fixings for a crab feast, and there was Smoke and a cigar-smokin’ wasp.
